FreeMakan Expels Hunger in Ipoh

 

On July 26, FreeMakan responded to a call for aid from B20 and B40 families living in the flats at Panorama Lapangan Perdana, Ipoh. Their plight was highlighted by the news portal, Free Malaysia Today (FMT).

Thanks to our generous sponsor, Affin Hwang Asset Management Berhad, FreeMakan successfully facilitated deliveries, via Mydin Ipoh, of 200 grocery packs to these families in need.

The FreeMakan team tries its best to overcome the challenge posed by distances through working with local wholesalers and NGOs, thus ensuring our food aid reaches marginalised communities across Malaysia.
