On 30th October 2021, 150 packs of groceries were delivered to the Poorest of the Poor (POP) community residing around Klang and Port Klang. Most of the recipients were struggling Malaysians, and Indonesians without proper documentation who have lost their jobs during the pandemic.
FreeMakan hopes that the bags of groceries delivered today will at least help keep more families fed, while a sustainable source of income is found.
This round of distribution was a collaboration between FreeMakan, Creador Foundation, and Community Mobiliser Mr Philip Andrew from Apex Club.
