1MillionDevices.my is a nationwide campaign by UPLIFT to bridge the digital divide in education by equipping every marginalised school-going child with a digital device.
UPLIFT, together with BAC Education, is raising funds to secure 50 10’ Samsung tablets for underprivileged school-going children in the Klang Valley. The pandemic has highlighted the scale of digital exclusion, and many school children have been unable to study during lockdown or isolation. This issue also means that they are less likely to be able to catch up in ordinary times, and that they are highly unlikely to develop vital digital skills.All donations are welcome as every little helps.
