In the past month alone, we have seen many households raising white flags out of desperation. This was their cry for help. Many were daily wage-earners who have lost their only source of income, home and small entrepreneurs having to shut down their businesses for good because of the slowing economy.
The call for help came from all corners of the nation. This time, FreeMakan heeded the call from Sandakan, a city in the state of Sabah. On 27th & 28th July, BAC’s delivery partner, Ms Shariffa Warda helped facilitate the delivery of grocery packs to 63 deserving families around Sandakan.
