Critical Thinking Session at SMK St. John, KL
Next Steps
Back with BAC2School! This time the team visited SMK St. John, KL on the 26th of September, where approximately 150 Form 4 students participated in an engaging two-hour session on Critical Thinking. This marked our first visit to the school, with the session conducted primarily in English.
The workshop began with a short icebreaker to set the mood, followed by a detailed exploration of what exactly critical thinking entails. The students actively participated in group discussions and presentations on various topics, gaining valuable insights on how to approach problems from different angles.
BAC2School really ensured that this session was a real powerhouse of learning for the students. Here are some amazing things that were covered in the session:
A Successful Learning Experience
After an hour and a half of interactive learning, the session had come to an end. Though with such an excitement exuding from the students, the BAC2School team were tempted to keep it going. It was an amazing time to witness how these students not only gained valuable insights into critical thinking but also enjoyed the collaborative and engaging environment.
The students’ enthusiasm and participation throughout the session were a clear indication of the impact it had. Many students expressed how the skills they learned could be applied to their academic journey and everyday challenges.
We are excited about the potential of future collaborations with SMK St. John and hope to continue empowering students with essential skills like critical thinking. Through the BAC2School initiative, we remain committed to fostering growth and innovation in schools across Malaysia, ensuring that students are well-equipped for their future.
