Why Do We Care?

Women face unique mental health challenges, often influenced by hormonal fluctuations related to menstruation, pregnancy, and menopause. These talks aimed to bridge the gender gap in mental health discussions, highlighting the importance of understanding and addressing these issues.

Promoting mental health awareness, particularly for women, is essential in the ongoing fight for gender equality. Initiatives like these not only educate but also empower individuals to seek help and provide support to those in need. By creating these open discussions, UPLIFT and Sheroes.my are playing a vital role in pushing the importance of mental health for it to become a key part of gender equality efforts.

Through these talks, both organisations are working to remove the stigma around mental health and create inclusive spaces for learning and growth.
